My defintion of FRIEND

According to the dictionary the defintion of friend is

1. a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
2. a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: friends of the Boston Symphony
3. a persona member of the same nation, party, etc.
4. who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile

My defintion of a friend is pretty much the same thing. Someone you feel comfortable around, someone in which you can go to for advice, a helping hand, compassion and even just a cool person that you can vibe with. But lets not forget, someone you can trust.

Friends are all good but sometimes if not most, we have to choose our "friends" carefully. I dont know why but its our human nature to treat the offender better than we treat our one true friend that would never intentionally hurt you. Why do we do that?

While choosing my friends I like people who are active and doing positive things with trheir lives. I like when people have goals that they intend to fulfill, I LOVE humor. If you can make me laugh that is great for our friendship. Im the type of person that just goes with the flow, I dont like to fuss and fight and if we do which is good for a relationship, Im the type that would HUG you after all is said and done ask my homies J.A.D.E. (LOL) I dont like people who are negative like always wanna argue or judge people. That stuff gets annoying. I have an ambition and I need people around me that are moving forward.

For my whole life I had people come and go but, I have a good idea of who my true friend are thus far.

T.I.

Clifford Harris Jr., stage name T.I., Alter ego T.I.P. also know as the KING of the South, is a Grammy Award rapper/producer/songwriter/CEO of Grand Hustle Record. The reason I decided to write about his is because I admire him because of his adversity and his again lyrical abilities. T.I. is always at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with singles like "My Love", "Whatever You Like"and "Live Your Live."

T.I.

The "T.I." half of T.I. is the club hopping type of music. Music that you can vibe to for example. "Whatever You Like" this song gets alot of people gased because in this recession we cannot have whatever we like. We on a budget OK. But I respect the song because the song is like 3 and a half mintes of a escape of this recesion that the US is facing.

T.I.P.

I dont listen to more of T.I.'s alter ego T.I.P. because I dont really like gangster rap. But from what I heard about his gangsta side and by looking at the charts, he must be spitting HOT FIRE BOII.

I like T.I. swagger, I love the way he can transform from street n hood to proper and classy. Plus he has his own appearance. While T.I., he's clean cut with a suit, shirt n tie and a nice pair of shades on. While T.I.P., he's has on dog taggs, white marina, denim with the white hat tilted to the side.

Very SWAGG-O-LIOUS

T.I. was recently sent off to jail becuase of possesion of illegal weapons. When I first heard that on the news they said he had 90 GUNS!! Im like that good for him because he hads 90 GUNS, (what chu doing with 90 damn GUNS boii?? SMH) The reason for this is because one of his homies was murdered in front of a night club. T.I felt the need to protect himself. I think that he should have went about getting a weapon the legal way. He is a high profile celebrity and any little thing can possibly ruin his career and far a going to the state penn for life or a really long time. I also listened to his some "Ready for Whatever" off the Paper Trail album.

My Wishlist

This is a list of this that I wish I can obtain sometime in my life

Most thing are realistic that I have at my feet but I just have to work hard and I will get it

- Complete my undergraduate at LIU in Sports Science

- A Lexus F performance

- I have never been to England and I want to got there

- I also want to go back to Jamaica W.I. I havent been there in about 2-3 years. I miss it and I want to go back

- I want to live comfortable. Meaning I want to be able to buy anything I want when ever I want

- I want to spoil my Loved ones

- WORLD PEACE!!!! (PSYCH THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. BUT I DONT CARE I WANT THAT STILL)

-I want to Orlando Magic to win the 2008-2009 NBA Championship

-I want Mavado to come out with another song that send mi weh (LOL)

-Own my own home

-Give back

Graduation Day

SHOOTOUTS TO THE CLASS OF 09'!! A SPECIAL SHOOTOUT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL OF SPORTS MANAGEMENT!! GOOD LUCK & I LOVE YALL'!!

Definitely for me Graduation day will WATERY day for me. Although I might not have gotten along with very few seniors, I will truly miss everyone. I always thought that this day wouldn't come but reality is surely kicking in and we currently have 2 days left of school. Althought I dont want use to graduate yet because I love being around my classmate, we do have our lives to carry on with.

There was no other high school that would have put in the work that our staff here has put in. I will definitely miss the leanancy and patience the staff had put up with. But I have noting else to say.

The Difference between Mavado && Vybz

There is a huge controversy between Mavado and Vybz Kartel about who is better. So to try to answer that that question a sound clash was taken place called Sting 2008. Both artist are very consistant with their music. They always have songs that drive the people crazy(in a good way). Well as a result the battle was called a draw.

Ashley's Point of View

Mavado:

I must honestly say that I would go with Mavado over Vybz. I say this because when I listen to him, I step out of who I am. I mean I feel like Im a "gun man" (jamaican accent LOL). I also feel like doing the dance "Pree Dem" (LOL). My favorite song from Mavado is "Real Killa." Mavado came out with hits first hit "Real McCoy" on the "Anger Management Riddim", "So Special", " On the Rock","Overcome" "Money Changer" "Dem A Fag" a diss song aimed towards Vybz Kartel his musical rival and the list goes on and on. He is definitely one of my favorites with his lyrical abilities and the riddim to go with it, make me say "damn how did he really think of this??" As far as language goes, he doesnt curse as must as Vybz does. He probably says about 5 curse words therefore I can blast his music in my house without my mom like "Ashley, Ah wah dat??"

My argument with people all the time is that Mavado and Vybz are to different types of artist. I you need a hit that will have the people jamming, like a party tune, Mavado is your man some for Vybz too. If you need someone to spit 100 bars and really demolish another artist, Vybz IS your guy. On the "Self Defense Riddim" Vybz Kartel killed Mavado hands down, I can admit that.

Vybz Kartel:

Hits like "Breast Specialist" and "Ramping Shop", Vybz Kartel has no limit as to how explicit his imagination can go. Vybz is the type of artist that you MUST listen carefully because he speaks so fast and his lyrics are bananas. I MUST listen to Kartel's music with my Bestiie Jody. Jody goes INNN!!! I am able to catch the words BUT I cannot not not repeat it. Once we were in the train station and Jody n I was listening to my Ipod and we was listening to what use to be his new song, "Empire Army", I couldn't believe that Jody went so INN, it was like she was Kartel.

KanYe West the BEST in the Industry

KANYE WEST

Mr. West is a respectable guy in my opinion. He's fly, classy, conceited(cute though), and he is very vocal. To me Kanye is top 5 of the best rappers alive. Not to mention he's a producer producing his own music and some YOUR favorite artist music. It is FACTUAL that KanYe has came out with HIT, AFTER HIT, AFTER HIT. His first song "Through the Wire"

The College Dropout

On October 23, 2002 my brother KanYe almost lost his life in a fatel crash accident. Trajic accidents like these influenced his music like his first single "Through the Wire"

Anytime Im in a car I alway say thank God I aint to cool for the safe belt while I put on my seat belt. But anywhoo, this album gave me a bloack college type of School Spirit, Roots, poor black man wanting to get a degree type stuff. You might now understand me but listening to that album, in store as you read, and you MIGHT understand me.

Late Registration

Released August 30, 2005. Late Registration album had crazy hits like "Diamonds from Sierra Leone". This track brought me to Africa and what they have to go through because of a piece of diamond. It also reminded me of the Scramble for Africa, plus it made me feel a little resentment toward whit people but I cool with white people. "Gold Digger" even my mom like gold digger and she isn't really a hip hop fan, she mad reggae (LOL). "Touch the Sky" I wanted to touch the sky, the instruments were crazy with the horn and again his lyrics.

Graduation

Released Sept. 11, 2007

Around this time there was a face off battle between KanYe and 50 cent(one of my former favorite rappers). This album was excellent! When it was about to come out my cousins and I were like we must go and get it as soon and it comes out, NO WAIT!!!

It was a well written, when I listened to it, it gave me alot of "Owwww's and Ahhhh's, Get it? But anyway, this album is the type of album that you can put it on and just let it play. Now that mean its a good album. Some if not most albums in this day and ages, you can buy an album for that one good song and the rest of the album sucks. My favorite on the album was "Champion" I listened to that on game days, I gets me hype and into the mode of playing hard. other Favs like "Stronger", "Everytime I am","Barry Bonds","The Glory" and "Good Life." This album had to be the highlight of his career, it went number one in more than 3 countries: Austrian, Belgian, Europe, Canada, the UK and of course the Unites States.

808's and HeartBreaks

On November 30, 2007 KanYe lost his mother is cosmetic surgery but he found the strength to continue on his music career. In my opinion I never was a fan of plastic surgery and surgery that alters your body because the person isn't satifised with their apparence. But to each their own.

To be honest I didnt really like this album. It was aight I do have a favorite "Coldest Winter". Im not going to go in depth with the album because I didnt really like the album. Now a day KanYe is making a killing feature on track and producing. Lyrical avilities are CRAZYYYYYYY he NICE I LOVE KANYE!!!!!

The album cover it hard and so I is the albums name. Agree??

How IRONIC

I am a little heart broken because the Cleveland Cavaliers had been beaten by the Orlando Magics. I initially thought that the Cavs would beat the Magic but I waws wrong. After they swept Pistons and the Hawks, I was confident that they would sweep the Magic too but I was WRONG. But I also have beef with them Cavs as a collective team. I play basketball and everything but I am not a fanatic meaning I do not sit down and analyze every aspect of the game.

While watching the 2008-2009 playoffs between the Cavs and the Magics, I feel that the Cavs collectively didnt step up to help themselves win. With that said MO WILLIAMS, ILLGAUSKAS AND BEN WALLACE SUCKKKKKK AS***!!! Yeah, everyone knows that LeBron James will always "LEAVE IT OUT ON THE FLOOR" but he CANNOT do it alone. The rest of the team has to MUST MUST MUST score at least 4-6 points per game and a the big men like, Illgauskas, MUST grab rebounds. Maybe an estimate of at least 8 rebounds.

Its funny to me because Ben Wallace was a former play of Champion team the Detriot Pistons and he was one of the starters, Chauncey at point, Hamiltion, Prince and Rasheed. Bear with me, I dont know much about the NBA so I think that Detriot had one of the best starters in the NBA when they were once bonded. Although he has been traded around I feel that he can do a way better job at contributing toward the team.

As for Illgauskas a.k.a "Mr. Kaps", he cannot hold Howard. Howard has been destroying him in the paint. One game Illgauskas has 6 point, 6 points??!! are you kidding me?. He is supposed to be one of the better center the Cavs have, after all he is a starter. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that Illgau is trash. To me he doesnt play with any heart.

As for the resst of the team, Im going to stop becuase I dont know about them.
